Lifting Fog

One of my pleasures at the cottage is spending the hour or so just after dawn alone on the dock. While I always hope for a foggy morning , I don’t always get it. This morning — our last of the summer — I was rewarded with this view and the priceless experience of watching the lake emerge from the fog.

This is an image I would frame if I were you. I especially love how one can feel the fog but still see the clear blue.
