October 24, 2008

The warm days of early fall are gone and our mornings have become frosty and cool. The monotone colors of late fall are emerging .  Today  I visited Mer Bleue Bog and found these last bits of color covered in frost.

Exquisite. I especially like the second and third images, Julie. However, I’m not sure that I’m ready for frost quite yet! I’m still enjoying fall. :)

I really love the frost on the edges of the color.

I’m not ready for the frost yet either! It makes me sad because fall is going to fast for me and it’s my favorite time…

I love the 2nd shot’s comp and the last one has a great DOF that makes the leaves stand out.

Lovely – I like the light to dark transition on the first image and the vignette and glow on the second one.

  6. Great muted tones in the foliage. I’ve never really seen anything like this!

Julie – you need to hand out some hot chocolate when you post frosty delights like these – Great Captures

Nice. We’ve had only one day like that so far, and I was late for work and couldn’t stop to take any shots.

Sigh, I much prefer not working.
